STILL WINLESS: Red Bulls II falls to Miami FC at home

MONTCLAIR, N.J. – The winless Red Bulls II continued to struggle, dropping a 1-0 decision to Miami FC in USL Championship action at MSU Soccer Park Friday night.

NYRBII fell to 0-2-1, with all three games at home.

Former Red Bulls II midfielder Devon Williams scored the lone goal in the 15th minute, slotting home a rebound off a blocked shot past goalkeeper AJ Marcucci.

Marucci made his professional debut, making three saves.

Defender Juan Castillo started on the backline, marking his first appearance for the team.

NYRBII hits the road for the first time this season, heading south to play Loudoun United at Segra Field Tuesday at 7 p.m.
