EAST WINDSOR, N.J. ― Registration is open for New Jersey Youth Soccer’s 2021 Futsal State Cup.

The event was created for Under-9 to U-19 boys and girls teams.

The competition will be managed by EDP Soccer, one of the leading league and tournament companies in the country. This will be the third competition of its kind after this past winter’s event was postponed due to COVID-19 and related safety considerations.

The 2020 NJYS Futsal State Cup hosted more than 100 teams, and champions earned a place at US Futsal’s regional championship.

The tournament format will feature 5v5 futsal, and it will be hosted at Sportika Sports in Manalapan, N.J. Each team that enters will play at least three 30-minute games, with a semifinal and final for teams that advance past the group stage. The entry fee is $475 per team, and registration is now available online.

The tournament will accept NJ Youth Soccer passes as well as US Futsal passes. For teams and players who are not registered with NJ Youth Soccer or US Futsal, you can get information about obtaining passes by contacting [email protected]. This summer’s NJYS Futsal State Cup does not have an affiliation with or direct qualification to a US Futsal Regional Championship.
