Some good news for Barnsley FC supporters and not so good for Orlando City SC fans:

Striker Daryl Dike will remain with the English Football League Championship team through the promotion playoffs, the Major League Soccer  team announced Thursday night.

The 20-year-old Dike has been nothing but a god sent since joining the team in February, helping the team climb from 12th place to sixth place. He has tallied nine goals in 18 games and has attracted attention from several clubs, including those in the English Premier League.

Orlando City rejected a $10 million bid for Dike earlier this year.

Dike’s loan to Barnsley was supposed to last through Monday, May 4.
