RICHMOND, Va. – Hofstra University senior midfielder Lucy Porter earned her third Colonial Athletic Association offensive player of the week honor, it was announced Monday afternoon.

Porter recorded her first hat-trick of the season in Hofstra’s 7-2 victory over Towson Saturday. She put the Pride on the scoreboard just 43 seconds into the match and added a second goal to give Hofstra the lead in the 37th minute. She tacked on Hofstra’s fifth goal in the 54th minute for the third hat-trick of her Hofstra career.

She leads Hofstra with 10 goals on the season and is third in the nation in goals per game (1.25) and third in points per game (3.00)
