QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John’s University women’s game with No. 12 Georgetown University, scheduled for Saturday at Belson Stadium, has been canceled out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19 protocols.

The Big East match will not be rescheduled.

No other details were available.

Saturday was originally slated to be Senior Day for the Red Storm. Due to the cancelation, the team’s senior ceremony has been pushed back to Sunday, April 11, and will occur prior to the matchup with Providence College.

St. John’s travels to Providence, R.I. to meet Providence College Thursday at 3 p.m.
