RICHMOND, Va. – Junior Miri Taylor had one of the top performances of her career in Hofstra’s 6-0 victory over the University of Delaware on Saturday and for that, earned Colonial Athletic Association offensive player of the week honors announced Monday afternoon.

It is the second time in Taylor’s career that she earned the accolade.

Taylor was instrumental against the Blue Hens as she registered a career-high six points on two goals and two assists. Taylor recorded all her points of the first half, recording the first multi-goal and multi-assist match of her career.

Taylor has 17 assists for her career, cracking in to Hofstra’s top-10 all-time (tied for 10th) in that category.

The forward from Gillingham, England has 13 points on four goals and five assists through the first six matches this season. She currently ranks third in the CAA in points and goals and is second in assists.

Porter is the fourth Pride player to earn a weekly award from the CAA and third to receive the top offensive player honor. The Pride has had at least one player honored during five out of the six weeks.
