RICHMOND, Va. – For the second time this season, Hofstra University senior forward Sabrina Bryan was selected as the Colonial Athletic Association’s offensive player for the week.

Bryan had a hand on all three goals during Hofstra’s 3-0 victory of Northeastern on Sunday, finishing with four points on the strength of one goal and two assists. She assisted on the game-winning goal in the 43rd minute before recording her fourth goal of the season to give Hofstra a 2-0 lead in the 61st minute. She assisted on the final goal in the 87th minute.

Bryan made several jumps in the Hofstra career record books. She has 84 career points, moving her into fifth place all-time. She also has 24 assists, ranking third in school history. Her 30 career goals are tied for sixth in Hofstra history.

The Pennsylvania native has recorded at least one point in four consecutive matches and she has recorded at least three points in four of five matches this season. She also has tallied at least one point in 16 of her last 17 performances.

Since the Hofstra women’s season has started, the Pride has had at least one player honored during four out of the five total weeks.
