U.S. men’s national team players Brenden Aaronson and Daryl Dike scored for their respective clubs in European team action Wednesday.

Dike’s second goal of the season in the 23rd minute sparked Barnsley to a 3-1 win at Queens Park Rangers. The Orlando City SC player, who is on loan to the English Championship team, played 56 minutes.

Former Philadelphia Union midfielder Brenden Aaronson played the entire way and scored the final goal in Red Bull Salzburg’s 4-0 win over Sturm Graz in the OFB Cup quarterfinals in Austria. Aaronson found the net in the 79th minute. Former Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch directs Salzburg.

In other action:

* One-time Red Bulls center back Matt Miazga played 90 minutes to help Anderlecht register a 1-0 win over Cercle in the Belgian Cup quarterfinals.

* In a battle of USMNT teammates, Tyler Adams’ RB Salzburg bested John Brooks’ Wolfsburg team, 3-0, in the DFB Pokal Cup quarterfinals in Germany. Both played went the entire way. Adams is a former Red Bulls midfielder.

* Right back Sergino Dest played 63 minutes for Barcelona, which overcame a two-goal first-leg deficit to equalize at home with a 2-0 win over Sevilla in the Copa del Rey before emerging victorious in extratime, 3-2. Dest and Barca will meet the winner of the Athletic Bilbao-Levante match in the April 17 Spanish final.

* Tim Weah played the opening 75 minutes of Lille’s 2-0 victory over Olympique Marseille as the club stayed atop French Ligue 1.
