Doug Miller has added some more duties to his already overflowing plate.

Not only will he coach the Rochester Lancers in the National Premier Soccer League for the fifth consecutive season, he also will operate that team and the Lady Lancers this year.

Miller has been a staple of Lancers soccer, indoor or out, having been with the franchise as a player and coach since 2011.

The NPSL season is expected to start in May, with the season schedule to be announced soon. All Lancers home games will be played at Aquinas Institute.

All home games will be streamed live on LancersTV, said Lancers president of operation Ashley Maria King.

Joe Giuliano will return to the LancersTV broadcasts. Giuliano is a Lancers Wall of Famer and has been with the club since 2011.

“The team will make a decision regarding spectators by April 15,” team owner SoccerSam Fantauzzo said. “Our priority has always been and remains the safety for our fans, players and staff.”

The Lancers’ 2020 season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
