Are the Red Bulls considering adding another goalkeeper?

According to Austrian outlet Kronen Zeitung, they are, in the form of Red Bull Salzburg goalkeeper Carlos Miguel Coronel, a Brazilian.

Coronel, 24, has been with the Austrian Bundesliga team since 2017, playing only five times.

He was on loan with the Philadelphia Union in 2019 and with its USL Championship side, Philadelphia Union II.

Coronel has played but once at Salzburg for former Red Bulls head coach Jesse Marsch this campaign.

The Red Bulls already have three goalkeepers on their roster. Ryan Meara and David Jensen split duties last season with 13 and 10 games, respectively. they signed Luca Lewis, who played for their USL Championship affiliate, Red Bulls II, in 2020, to a Major League Soccer contract.
