The Red Bulls hope the 13th overall selection in the MLS SuperDraft is a lucky one.

On Thursday, they chose Syracuse University forward Luther Archimede in the MLS SuperDraft.

The 6-2, 176-lb. Archimede has played for Guadeloupe in the Concacaf Under-20 Championship, scoring six goals in five matches. He also has played for FC Sochaux in France.

The Petit-Bourg, Guadeloupe native started three matches for SU this past fall, leading the team with 12 shots, on goal.

In his junior year in 2019, he made 17 appearances, scoring four goals.

He is majoring in economics in the School of Arts and Sciences.
