Major League Soccer Thursday announced that former LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimović’s wonder goal in his debut MLS match on March 31, 2018 has been named The Greatest Goal.

With the top 25 goals nominated by MLS, a fan vote determined The Greatest Goal, an honor that highlights the best goal in Major League Soccer’s 25 seasons.

With the Galaxy trailing 3-2 during the inaugural El Trafico match against crosstown rival Los Angeles Football Club, Ibrahimović received an aerial ball and volleyed a rocket shot into the back of the net from 40 yards out.  Zlatan tallied another goal in stoppage time of that game to earn the Galaxy a 4-3 win
