Alex Morgan scored her first goal in England, converting a penalty kick in Tottenham’s 3-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women’s Super League Sunday.

The U.S. women’s national team standout put home the PK in the 84th minute in the Spurs’ first win of the season.

It was Morgan’s first goal domestically or internationally since tallying the game-winning goal in the 2-1 semifinal triumph in the 2019 Women’s World Cup Julyy 2, 2019.

A minute after her goal, Morgan was subbed out.

Morgan played with the USWNT for the first time in the 2-0 win at the Netherlands Nov. 27. It was her first appearance for the side since the Women’s World Cup final, which was a span of 509 days.
