HARRISON, N.J. – Sky Blue FC Forward Paige Monaghan has launched a charity auction for the Roxbury Social Services before the upcoming holidays.

The auction features many signed items, including cleats from her first professional goal and a 2020 Sky Blue FC jersey.

“My hometown has a very special place in my heart, and I am excited to raise money for Roxbury Social Services,” Monaghan said in a statement. “With Thanksgiving approaching quickly, I think it is super important to support the people in my community that have supported me on the soccer pitch.

“I am thankful for all of the support I have received from being the four-year-old Mighty Mite at Horseshoe Lake, celebrating a half-field goal at the beloved Roxbury High School turf, and continuing with the adventures of Sky Blue. Roxbury, my home, is where my story began, and I am forever grateful.”

The auction runs to Friday.

“It is an honor for us to help Paige with this charity auction for her hometown of Roxbury, New Jersey,” Sky Blue FC community relations coordinator Halsey Urban said in a statement. “Community is at the core of who we are at Sky Blue, and we love any way we can have a positive impact, especially for places close to our hearts as well as our players.”
