Josh Sargent scored his first goal of the season for Werder Bremen, helping the Bundesliga side to a 1-1 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany Saturday.
Sargent helped the visitors draw first blood in the 51st minute.
He ran onto a pass on the left side and cruised in toward goalkeeper Kevin Trapp in a 1 v 1 situation situation. The U.S. men’s national team striker then fired a 12-yard shot to the near left side for a 1-0 advantage.
