KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There was little movement atop the rankings as United Soccer Coaches announced the latest fall college rankings Tuesday.

The University of Pittsburgh remained atop the men’s rankings again this week, while the University of North Carolina continues to be No. 1 in the women’s poll.

The Panthers are 5-0-0 and No. 1 for the second successive week. The remainder of the men’s top five was the same as last week with Wake Forest at No. 2, Clemson in the No. 3 spot and Kentucky and North Carolina.

On the women’s side, the Tar Heels are 7-0-0 and have led the entire fall. Florida State is second for the sixth consecutive week. Clemson is third for the second consecutive week while TCU and Duke swapped spots this week at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

Due to the pandemic, only teams competing in the fall are considered for the fall rankings. The number of teams appearing in each ranking is also lower due to the lower number of teams competing. The men’s poll consists of a top five national ranking and the women’s poll features a top 15. There are no regional rankings.
