KANSAS CITY Mo. — There were no changes at the top of the latest NCAA Division I men’s and women’s soccer ranking, as announced by United Soccer Coaches Tuesday.

Wake Forest remained No. 1 in the men’s poll, while North Carolina continued atop the women’s ranking.

Behind the Demon Deacons, the men’s top five saw one change this week with North Carolina sliding into the top five at No. 3. Pittsburgh was still No. 2 with Kentucky fourth and Virginia fifth, respectively, for the third consecutive week.

On the women’s side, the Tar Heels continue their perch atop the poll at 4-0 with Florida State right behind them in second also at 4-0. Arkansas remained in the No. 3 spot this week, the Razorbacks are 4-0 as well. Clemson moved up two spots into the fourth position while Duke climbs into the top five this week.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only teams competing in the fall are considered for the fall rankings. The number of teams appearing in each ranking is also lower due to the lower number of teams competing. The men’s poll consists of a Top Five national ranking and the women’s poll features a Top 15. There are no regional rankings.
