NO GAME: COVID-19 postpones Colorado-Kansas City match

Major League Soccer Saturday announced that the match between the Colorado Rapids and Sporting Kansas City Sunday at DICK’s Sporting Goods Park has been postponed.

One player and three staff members of the Rapids received confirmed positive tests for COVID-19 during a series of tests conducted on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 24-25.

Based on the number of positive test results, MLS has postponed the match to allow for additional testing and evaluation.

All other members of the Rapids are asymptomatic, have received negative test results for COVID-19 and are following MLS medical protocol.

Further details regarding when this match will be played will be announced at a later date.
