In contrast to last week’s results, several more individuals tested positive for COVID-19 among USL Championship clubs this week.

The United Soccer League announced Thursday that 1,412 tests were administered to players and club staff from the 35 Championship clubs between Sept. 7-14 with 10 individuals testing positive from five clubs.

Only one person tested positive for Coronavirus in the Championship last week.

The USL said that 492 tests were administered to players and club staff from the 11 League One clubs between Sept. 7-14 with one individual testing positive.

Those players or club staff who have tested positive will self-isolate in line with the guidelines provided by the USL and only those who have tested negative will be permitted to enter training ground facilities. Anyone identified via contact tracing will also be quarantined and tested.
