The Cosmos will host Detroit City FC in their postponed home match Wednesday, Sept. 9, it was announced Monday.

The closed-door match in the National Independent Soccer Association fall season at the Mitchel Sports Complex in Uniondale, N.Y. will kick off at 7 p.m.

The game, originally scheduled for Friday, Aug. 27, was not played after Detroit City FC (0-1-1, 1 point) players decided not to play, in response to the recent shooting of Jacob Blake and other racial matters. The Cosmos (1-0-1, 4) agreed and the match was postponed.

The game will be streamed at MyCujoo.TV.
