LOUDOUN, Va. – Forward Jake Lacava scored twice in the opening half to lead Red Bulls II to a 3-2 win over Loudoun United FC in a USL Championship match Saturday night.

This was NYRB II’s first victory since defeating Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, 2-1, at Red Bull Arena July 26.

New York grabbed the lead in the 19th minute when midfielder Caden Clark found Lacava, who scored his first professional goal. Clark record his team=best fourth assist of the season.

Loudoun leveled in the 40th minute off a goal from Kairou Amoustapha.

Lacava recorded a brace in first-half stoppage time for a 2-1 lead. Dantouma Toure tallied his second assist of the season.

Clark struck for his first professional goal and the game-winner in the 56th minute off a pass from midfielder Cherif Dieye.

Amoustapha closed out the scoring for the hosts in the 64th minute.

NYRB II hosts Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC at Red Bull Arena Sept. 5 at 5 p.m.
