PONTIAC, Mich. – The fall season of the National Independent Soccer Association began Saturday night as Michigan Stars FC recorded a 2-1 victory over Chattanooga FC at Ultimate Soccer Arenas Outdoor Stadium.
Steven Juncaj snapped at 1-1 tie for the hosts in the 88th minute, firing home an 18-yard shot to the right far post.
Michigan’s Kyle Nuel scored the first goal of the fall season in the sixth minute past goalkeeper Matt Mozynski to give the Stars the lead.
Ian McGrath knotted things up in the second half for Chattanooga FC.
