HARRISON, N.J. – The fans have spoken – and voted.

After a stellar performance at the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup, goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan has been voted the Sky BLue FC MVP by supporters.

Named Golden Glove winner of the tournament, Sheridan started all six games in the competition while logging 540 minutes, 21 saves and three shutouts. Sheridan’s top-notch performance in goal led Sky Blue FC to its first National Women’s Soccer League knockout round victory against the Washington Spirit July 18.

The SBFC MVP fan vote campaign was launched July 21, the day before Sky Blue’s semifinal elimination by the Chicago Red Stars, and ended on Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
