OK folks, we have a new schedule for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the NISA Independent Cup.

The Cosmos will kick off their particpation with the first New York Derby with New Amsterdam FC at the Hudson Sports Complex in Warwick, N.Y. Sunday, Aug. 2.

They will travel to Virignia for matches against FC Baltimore Christos Aug. 6 and Maryland Bobcats FC on August 9.

All Independent Cup matches will be streamed on the league website.

The competition, which was supposed to start today (Tuesday), was postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic problems in Boyds, Md.

The schedule

* Sunday, Aug. 2 – Cosmos v. New Amsterdam FC at Hudson Sports Complex, Warwick, N.Y. 6:45 p.m.

* Thursday, Aug. 6 – Cosmos v. FC Baltimore Christos at Evergreen Sports Complex,  Leesburg, Va., 8:45 p.m.

* Sunday, Aug. 9 – Maryland Bobcats FC v. Cosmos at Evergreen Sports Complex, Leesburg, Va., 7:45 p.m.

The Cosmos were supposed to kick off their participation in the NISA fall season Aug. 8. There was no immediate word as to when that season would begin.
