ORLANDO – Orlando City SC forward Dom Dwyer has been ruled out for the remainder of the MLS is Back Tournament, the Major League Soccer club announced Sunday.
On Saturday, Dwyer left the MLS bubble in order to obtain an MRI on his left knee.
Due to the timeline required for both quarantine and return-to-play training, Dwyer has returned home and will not rejoin the team until after the conclusion of the MLS is Back Tournament.
Orlando City qualified for the quarterfinals with a 1-0 victory over the Montreal Impact in the Round of 16 Saturday. The Lions will compete in the semifinals on Friday.
