LONDON — Christian Pulisic and Chelsea are going to the UEFA Champions League next season.
The Blues accomplished that feat by securing a 2-0 win over the Wolverhampton Wolves on the final day of the English Premier League season Sunday.
Chelsea finished the season in fourth place with a 20-16-6 mark and 66 points. Liverpool (32-3-3, 99) was the runaway EPL champions.
Pulisic, a member of the U.S. national team, did not play a part in either goal, but has been one of Chelsea’s best players during the stretch run of the season.
Three points and a place in next season's UEFA Champions League secured! 🤝

Mason Mount and Olivier Giroud did the damage at Stamford Bridge as they found the net in first-half stoppage time. Giroud tallied a minute in and Mount added his goal four minutes in.
Pulisic played a superb one-two with Giroud before his shot wound up being off target in the 77th minute.
Two minutes later, the American was replaced by Callum Hudson-Odoi.
About 15 minutes afterwards, Pulisic was celebrating a job well done with his elated Chelsea teammates.
