NEW YORK – Major League Soccer announced Sunday that the D.C. United vs. Toronto FC Group C match, which had been slate to be played Sunday, has been rescheduled to Monday at 9 a.m. ET.

The MLS Is Back Tournament game can be seen on (ESPN2, ESPN Deportes or TSN.

Under the league’s health and safety protocols, clubs are tested the day before each match. The results of Saturday’s tests for D.C. United and Toronto FC produced an initial unconfirmed positive COVID-19 case for one player and an inconclusive test for another player.

Both teams participated in another round of testing Sunday, and all players from the two clubs tested negative. The player who received an initial positive test and the player whose test was inconclusive will undergo additional testing and will not play in Monday match at the ESPN’s Wide World of Sports.

In light of the rescheduled match, MLS also announced the following tournament schedule updates:

* Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact will be played on Thursday, July 16 at 8 p.m. ET (FS1/TUDN/TSN/TVA Sports)

* D.C United vs. New England Revolution will be played on Friday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN/ESPN3 (Spanish) /TSN)

Note: The Colorado Rapids vs. Sporting Kansas City game on Friday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET will air on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and TSN

Due to the date change for the Toronto FC vs. Montreal Impact match, the time of the San Jose Earthquakes vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC game has been moved from 10:30 p.m. ET to 9 p.m. ET (TUDN/Twitter/TSN/TVA Sports).
