Christian Pulisic left Chelsea’s win in the second half.

Christian Pulisic couldn’t duplicate his heroics with a finish for the second game in a row for Chelsea and wound up unable to finish the Blues’ 1-0 F.A. Cup quarterfinal win over host Leicester City on Sunday.

The U.S. international midfielder was taken out and replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek midway through the second half after suffering a calf injury.

“Christian felt some tightness in his calf during the second drink [break] break so we took him off straightaway,” Chelsea manager Frank Lampard said. “We will see the extent of that over the next couple of days but hopefully that won’t be anything serious.”

Pulisic scored a goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Thursday, which boosted Liverpool to its first English Premier League championship.
