Christian Pulisic, you might say, knocked off a couple of birds with one stone, or in this case, one really good kick.

Pulisic scored Chelsea’s first goal in its 2-1 victory over Manchester City Thursday and helped Liverpool win its first English Premier League title ever.

The win left the Reds 23 points clear of the second-place side with seven matches remaining in the 2019-20 season.

The 21-year-old Pulisic, a U.S. international, who scored for the second consecutive match lifted Chelsea into a 1-0 lead with a brilliant strike.

Man City had a mix-up at midfield between Ilkay Gundogan and Benjamin Mendy, which left the ball unpossessed some 60 yards from goal. Pulisic scooped it up, beat men and finished past goalkeeper Ederson.
