New York City FC will play FC Dallas in a friendly match on July 4 in preparation for the MIS IS Back Tournament in Orlando, Fla.

The exhibition game will provide the team with a competitive match in anticipation of the first game during the group stage.

City will travel to central Florida on Saturday, June 27 to train for the competition.

The Major League Soccer club said that full details on its matches against Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire FC will be announced soon.

FC Dallas was drawn in Group B for the MLS is Back Tournament and will square off against Seattle Sounders FC, Vancouver Whitecaps FC and San Jose Earthquakes. FC Dallas enters the tournament with a 1-0-1 record, following a 2-0 win against the Philadelphia Union in the season opener on Feb. 29 and a 2-2 draw against Montreal Impact on March 7.
