Seven individuals who have a soccer background are on the ballot for the Frontier Field Walk of Fame in Rochester, N.Y.

Frontier Field is the home of the Rochester Red Wings of the International League.

In alphabetical order, the nominees are

* Pat Dinolfo, an owner of the original Rochester Lancers

* Dennis O’Donnell, University of Rochester director of athletic communications who was the first editor of Soccer Week, a Long Island soccer publication

* Jeff Parinello, a Pittsford Mendon High School graduate who was the 1997 New York STate Boys soccer player of the year

* Rocky Perrotta – a public address announcer for every professional sports team in Rochester, including the modern-day Rochester Lancers, as well as local high school and college athletics

* Reinhold Spath, who officiated more than 5,000 games, a member of National Soccer Hall of Fame and a member Rochester Rhinos Hall of Fame

* Lenin Steenkamp, the longest tenured player to play for the Rochester Rhinos, whose 100 career points are second in team history

* Scott Vallow, a one-time Rhinos goalkeeper who owns club’s career mark for wins (83), shutouts (34) and saves

The 2015 Rochester Rhinos USL Championship team (20-1-10) is a finalist for the team of the ages.
