HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Hofstra University men’s coach Richard Nuttall will hold a live question and answer session with fans on Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET.
Nuttall will be joined on the live video chat by associate director of athletics for communications Stephen Gorchov.
Fans will be able to submit questions via the chat window. Gorchov will discuss Nuttall’s career and program while also passing along questions from the Hofstra community.
Nuttall, a former professional soccer player in England and a former member of the Long Island Rough Riders, completed his 31st season as head coach in 2019. He has guided the Pride to a 285-243-72 record in transforming the program into one of the most competitive in the Northeast.
The winningest coach in program history, Nuttall has led his team to a Colonial Athletic Association tournament appearance in nine of the past 10 seasons, including the 2015 and 2018 finals. The Pride has won four CAA championships under his direction (2004, 2005, 2006, 2015). He has coached Hofstra to a .500 record or better in 10 of the past 11 years, including eight consecutive campaigns.
In 2019, Hofstra posted a 10-6-3 record and advanced to the CAA semifinals where it tied James Madison University before falling in penalty kicks. The Pride put seven players on the All-CAA team last year
