CHICAGO – As U.S. Soccer’s “BEND THE CURVE. STAY AT HOME” campaign continues to emphasize to soccer fans across the country what medical experts advise is the most important way to combat the spread of COVID-19, U.S. Soccer has added more content for fans to connect and engage with while safely at home.

This week, fans can enjoy the airing of classic U.S. national yeam matches and Lamar Hunt Open Cup games, an educational webinar from U.S. Soccer’s High Performance Department, test their U.S. Soccer history with trivia quizzes, and catch up on new videos, written features and photo galleries focusing on historical highlights and current national team updates.

U.S. Soccer Insiders will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A with U.S. Women’s National Team General Manager Kate Markgraf and Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski.

Tuesday, April 7

USMNT Classics: USA-Costa Rica (Re-air from Oct. 14, 2009) at 8 p.m. ET. Join us at 7:30 p.m. for a special, half hour pre-game video chat with ESPN commentator Adrian Healey, Fox Sports commentator and former USMNT midfielder Stu Holden and former USMNT defender Jonathan Bornstein. The chat and game will both air on ussoccer.com, Facebook and YouTube.

Wednesday, April 8
Insiders Connect Series Q&A call for Premium Insiders with USWNT General Manager Kate Markgraf and Head Coach Vlatko Andonovski at 1 p.m. ET. The Insiders Connect series will continue next Wednesday with USMNT General Manager Brian McBride and Head Coach Gregg Berhalter. Standard Insiders will receive a recording of each call.

Thursday, April 9

High Performance Webinar: “Periodization & Load Management” with U.S. Soccer Sport Scientist Andy Guard will cover the systematic planning of training and athletic development at 11 a.m. ET on gotowebinar. The Federation is also partnering with key stakeholders across the soccer community, including current and former U.S. players, to amplify the message and deliver the real meaning to the phrase One Nation. One Team.
