Major League Soccer fans Monday night can relive the drama of the seven-goal thriller that was the inaugural El Trafico match in 2018.
The rebroadcast will be shown on FOX Sports at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Almost two years exactly to the date, MLS and FOX sports are teaming up to showcase the magical performance of Carlos Vela and LAFC that ultimately was undone by the debut of the LA Galaxy’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his legendary midfield strike.
LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget will take over the @FoxSoccer Twitter handle for the last 30 minutes of the match.
Leading into the game, FOX Sports will premiere a new digital soccer show, “Indoor Soccer,” on @FOXSoccer Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts – featuring FOX Sports talent John Strong, Stu Holden, Alexi Lalas, which will be highlighted by special guest appearances.
FOX Deportes will re-air that inaugural El Trafico match on Tuesday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET, with an accompanying Instagram Live featuring host Rodolfo Landeros.
The MLS YouTube and MLS Facebook accounts also will host their first “MLS Classics: Remix” production on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, providing an alternate live commentary experience with former LAFC player Benny Feilhaber and former Galaxy player Chris Pontius joining MLSsoccer.com personalities Calen Carr and David Gass.
