MIAMI – Concacaf and Univision have signed an exclusive agreement for Spanish language rights in the U.S. covering the women’s and men’s Olympic qualifiers.

The Concacaf women’s qualifiers kick off on Tuesday. The tournament includes Women’s World Cup champions United States, and World Cup participants Canada and Jamaica, plus Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Haiti and St Kitts and Nevis.The eight teams will compete for the two regional spots at the Tokyo 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.

Women’s qualifiers will be available on Univision’s TUDN sports cable network and TUDNxtra platform, as well as on TUDN Radio.

The men’s qualifiers will start on March 20, concluding with the final on April 1. The top eight teams across the region will compete for two regional spots at Tokyo 2020.

The draw for the men’s qualifiers, which took place earlier this month, placed the USA and Mexico in the same group. The other six competing nations are: Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti and Honduras. The tournament is exclusively for under-23 players.
