New York City FC arrived in Orlando, Fla. Sunday with a roster of 36 players to kick off its preseason training.
Recent signings Keaton Parks and Gedion Zelalem traveled with the team as did Bronx native and Homegrown defender Tayvon Gray, who agreed to a contract with the club recently.
Three players will miss the Florida training camp while on international duty: Valentin Castellanos, Sean Johnson and Jesus Medina. They will all join up with the squad later in the preseason once their international obligations are fulfilled.
Ten Academy players and five trialists, including 2020 MLS SuperDraft selections Jesus Perez and Felicien Dumas, joined the 21 signed NYCFC first team players.
NYCFC opens its pre-season slate against Corinthians on Jan. 15 and faces Palmeiras on Jan. 18.
