CHICAGO – The candidate field is set for the U.S. Soccer vice presidential election that will be held at the National Council Meeting during U.S. Soccer’s Annual General Meeting in Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Sitting vice president Cindy Cone and U.S. Soccer board of directors Adult Council Representative John Motta are the two candidates to have completed the nomination process.

This election will elect a candidate to a full, four-year term.

The nomination process (detailed in Policy 401-1) started in September 2019. The deadline for potential candidates to submit the requirements was Tuesday, Dec. 17.
