Keaton Parks is heading to New York City FC — again.
The U.S. international midfielder will join the Major League Soccer club via a permament transfer from Benfica in Portugal, The Athletic reported.
Parks was a member of NYCFC as a loan player in 2019, recording one goal and one assist in 1,317 minutes while starting 14 games over 22 appearances.
His most memorable game was when he registered a brace in the team’s first Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup win, a 4-0 home result over North Carolina FC on June 12. He scored his first MLS goal in a 2-1 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes on Sept. 14.
