DANBURY, Conn. – Hofstra University juniors Lucy Porter and Sabrina Bryan added to their long list of accolades as they were named the All-ECAC all-star team.

Porter was selected as the ECAC women’s soccer Division I offensive player of the year. Porter and Bryan were named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans last week.

Porter’s season was one for the record books, as she set a program record of 40 points off 16 goals and eight assists. Her 16 goals were the third-highest in program history, while her assist total ranked sixth. Porter finished top-25 in the national ranks in points (10th), goals (13th), points per game (14th), and goals per game (16th).

She also was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region first team, was the Colonial Athletic Association midfielder of the year, was a member of the All-Colonial Athletic Association first team, was selected as the CAA Championship Most Outstanding Player, and earned a spot on the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List at the beginning of the season.

Bryan also put together a tremendous junior campaign, racking up 32 points off 11 goals and 10 assists for her second successive 30-plus point season. Her assist total tied for the fourth-highest in program history and led the CAA. Bryan was also among the top-25 national ranks in several statistical categories, including assists (22nd), shots per game (17th) and shots on goal per game (24th).

Bryan’s All-ECAC nod comes after her United Soccer Coaches All-East Region first team, CAA attacking player of the year, All-CAA First Team and All-CAA Tournament Team honors.

Hofstra, who captured its third consecutive CAA Championship, concluded the season at mark and reached the second round of the NCAA Division I Tournament for the second consecutive season. Hofstra’s 16 wins matched the third-highest win total in program history.
