U.S. women’s national team forward Megan Rapinoe has added another honor to her growing collection.

She was named Sports Illustrated’s 2019 sportsperson of the year on Monday, the publication announced.

Although she made only six appearances for Reign SC in the National Women’s Soccer League, Rapinoe paced the American women to their second consecutive Women’s World Cup championship in France this summer, and fourth overall.

Rapinoe, 34, tallied six goals in France, winning the Golden Ball and Golden Boot.

In September, she was honored as the 2019 Best FIFA women’s player in the world.

On Dec. 2, Rapinoe earned the Ballon D’Or Femenin as the No. 1 women’s player in the world in voting of France Football correspondents.

Rapinoe is also a finalist for USWNT player of the year.

Off the field, she has been a leading voice for the equal pay fight for the USWNT team.
