NEW YORK — New York City FC will kick off the 2020 season on the road against Columbus Crew SC at MAPFRE Stadium Sunday, March 1, Major League Soccer announced Thursday. Game time at 12:30 pm ET.

In a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference semifinal, NYCFC will travel to Toronto FC for the opening match at BMO Field Saturday, March 7 at 5 p.m.

City’s sixth home opener will take place against FC Dallas at Yankee Stadium Saturday, March 14 at 12:30 p.m. NYCFC will mark the start of the new season with an expanded Homecoming celebration focusing on multiple activities throughout the city.

The full regular season schedule will be released by MLS soon.

NYCFC will discover its opponent for the 2020 Concacaf Champions League during a live draw Monday, Dec. 9.
