Another English Premier League club is interested in Red Bulls center back Aaron Long.

Sky Sports News reported Sunday that Southampton wants to sign the 27-year-old defender.

The website reported that the club has “been offered the chance to sign” the U.S. international backline player and 2018 Major League Soccer defender of the year in the January transfer window.

Long has a $6 million release clause in his contract, Sky Sports News reported.

Long, who scored a goal in the U.S.’s 4-1 home win over Canada in the Concacaf Nations League Friday night, also had interest from West Ham United over the summer.
