The Adelphi University men moved up a spot to third place among Division II schools in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, which was released Tuesday.

From Sept. 17-Oct. 1, the Panthers held the top ranking nationally for the first time in program history. After tying with Southern Connecticut State University Oct. 1, Adelphi fell to No. 4 in the poll.

Adelphi is riding a three-game winning streak since the draw, including victories over Saint Michael’s College, 4-1, Assumption College, 2-1, and Stonehill College, 1-0.

The Panthers (10-0-1) trail Azusa Pacific University (10-0-0) and California State University-Los Angeles (9-0-0), which hold the No. 1 and 2 rankings, respectively.

Head coach Gary Book and the squad will look to continue their winning ways as they take on Millersville University at in Millersville, Pa. Saturday at 3 p.m.
