The weather has forced the hand of New York City FC.

Since the Yankees were forced to postponed Game Four of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros due to inclement weather from Wednesday to Thursday, the Major League Soccer club announced that will host its first playoff match at Citi Field in Queens, N.Y. on Wednesday, Oct. 23.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. (FS1).

NYCFC will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Round One match between Toronto FC and D.C. United, which is set for Saturday at 6 p.m.

This will be City’s second game at the home of the Mets. In 2017, the team hosted Columbus Crew SC in a late season game at the baseball park. Earlier that year, a Yankees make-up game forced the club to play a home game in East Hartford, Conn.

NYCFC has called Yankee Stadium home for its MLS games since it joined the league as an expansion team in 2015.
