CHICAGO – U.S. men’s international players seem to be dropping like flies these days.

A day after Walker Zimmerman was forced out of USMNT training camp, Toronto FC striker Jozy Altidore Tuesday was forced to withdraw from the roster for the Concacaf Nations League matches against Cuba and Canada following an injury suffered in the MLS regular season final Sunday.

U.S. Soccer did not specify the injury or the severity of it.

Altidore left Toronto FC’s match against Columbus Crew SC in the 70th minute .

The training camp roster stands at 25 players ahead of the USMNT’s opening match of the 2019-20 Concacaf Nations League against Cuba on Friday, Oct. 11 at Audi Field in Washington D.C. (7 p.m. ET; FS1, UniMás and TUDN). The team then plays its first away match of 2019 when it visits Canada at BMO Field in Toronto on Tuesday, Oct. 15 (7:30 p.m. ET; ESPN2, UniMás and TUDN).
