NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Red Bull II overcame a one-goal road deficit to record a 2-1 victory over Nashville SC at First Tennessee Park in a USL Championship game Wednesday night.
The result boosted New York to 15-5-5 and 50 points while Nashville (45) fell to 13-6-6.
Red Bull II played the final 25 minutes with a man advantage after Nashville’s Forrest Lasso was given his marching orders for his second yellow card within a five-minute span in the 65th minute.
Kyle Duncan snapped a 1-1 tie in the 71st minute with his first professional goal, converting a a pass from Chris Lema.
Nashville SC’s Ken Tribbet opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but Jared Stroud tied the contest with his 11th goal of the season in the 44th minute.
Red Bulls II visits the Swope Park Rangers Saturday at 8 p.m.
