HARRISON, N.J. – The Red Bulls have waived Romanian midfielder Andreas Ivan, the club announced Wednesday.

Ivan, 24, joined New York last summer after playing with SV Waldhof Mannheim in Germany.

He made 21 league appearances for the Red Bulls, recording one goal and two assists.
