HARRISON, N.J. — The Red Bulls Friday loaned midfielder Marcus Epps to Memphis 901 FC of the USL Championship for the remainder of the season.

“Marcus has worked hard since signing with us in the offseason, and we wish him the best in Memphis,” Red Bulls sporting director Denis Hamlett said.

Epps made three appearances, including one start, for the Red Bulls this season. He also made 18 appearances for NYRB II, with 16 starts, and scored two goals.

The 24-year-old Epps was selected by the Red Bulls in the MLS waiver draft in December and signed to an MLS contract in January. He made 32 appearances over two seasons for the Philadelphia Union after being drafted out of the University of South Florida.
