CHESTER, Pa. — Red Bull II overcame a two-goal deficit in the final 14 minutes, connecting for three goals within a 12-minute span en route to a 4-3 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC at Talen Energy Stadium in the USL Championship Wednesday night.
Tom Barlow and Jared Stroud tallied two goals apiece for Red Bull II (10-4-4, 34 points).
In the 15th minute, Barlow scored his ninth goal of the season, off a pass from Marcus Epps, which was his fourth assist of the year.
The hosts, however, fired home the next three goals to grab a 3-1 advantage by the 58th minute.
Faris Pemi Moumbagna leveled things in the 23rd minute before Issa Rayyan struck twice in the 46th and 58th minutes.
After that, it was all Red Bull II.
Stroud, who made his 50th appearances in all competitions for the club, scored his second goal in the 76th minute, which was assisted by defender Janos Loebe.
Barlow connected for the equalizer in the 82nd minute as John Tolkin recorded his first professional assist.
Stroud scored his second goal in the 88th minute off a Barlow assist to boost Red Bull II the win.
NYRB II will host Atlanta United 2 Saturday at 5 p.m.
