MONTCLAIR, N.J. — Red Bull II took advantage of a man advantage for the final 66th minutes of the match to earn a 1-1 draw with Ottawa Fury FC at MSU Soccer Park Friday night.

Kyle Zajec tallied the equalizer for Red Bull II (9-4-4, 31 points) against Ottawa (7-3-7, 28). The hosts, however, could not find another goal to grab all three points despite the extra player.

It was the second draw between the clubs this USL Championship season.

Ottawa opened the scoring in the 20th minute on Carl Haworth’s goal before a crowd of 812.

Four minutes later, the visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 24th minute, as Jeremy Gagnon-Lapare earned his second yellow card of the game. He had accrued his first yellow in the 13th minute.

NYRB II leveled in the 55th minute as Zajec recorded his fourth goal of the season. Jared Stroud picked up an assist, his fifth of the season and 16th of his career.
